The goal is to have a sufficiently long screw inferiorly,
usually 36 mm or more. The length for the screw is
indicated on the drill bit by laser markings (Figure 37).
When necessary, the screw depth gauge can also be used
to obtain optimal screw length.
insert the 1.2 mm guide pin through the drill guide and
then remove the drill guide (Figure 38).
slide the locking screw of the appropriate length onto the
guide pin, having previously checked that it is unlocked
(the internal tightening screw should rotate freely) (Figure
39).
