Efficiency: MPPS
Figure 3 shows the typical efficiency with which the MPPS‑4000 series power supplies delivers
power to its DC OUTPUT from a 208 V
rmsL-L
AC INPUT and an 115 V
rmsL-L
AC INPUT. The extra
regulation stage of the MPPS causes the efficiency to be slightly lower when compared to an
MPS. Also note that there is no transient rating for the MPPS.
