6. USING WITH A MACINTOSH
COMPUTER
The Macintosh software driver that came with this unit should be installed
to automatically mount PC cards under a Macintosh environment.
Functions of the Macintosh Driver
The Macintosh software driver mounts removable media such as PC
cards(ATA card or SRAM cards) on a Macintosh computer. This software
provides the following functions:
- Automatically mounts the Macintosh formatted or DOS-formatted PC
Cards or other removable media.
NOTE: The DOS format is used by IBM PC/AT compatible computers and most digital
cameras. The files stored on a DOS-formatted PC card are DOS files.
For instructions on installing the Macintosh driver software that came with
this unit, please read the instruction manual that came with the software.
