Most interaction occurs on the NetBackup media servers.
Table 13-2 shows the NetBackup legacy logs for OpenStorage activity. For legacy
logging, the log directories must exist so that the utility can write log messages.

Backups and restores
The
bpstsinfo
utility writes information about
connections to the Nirvanix storage server in its log files.
Connection operations
The
tpconfig
utility. The
tpconfig
command writes log
files to the
tpcommand
directory.
Credentials configuration
Table 13-2 shows the NetBackup VxUL originator IDs (OIDs) for the processes
that write VxUL log messages. VxUL uses a standardized name and file format
for log files. To view VxUL log files, you must use the NetBackup
vxlogview
command. The following is an example of how to view the most recent 20 minutes
of log entries for the NetBackup Remote Manager and Monitor Service:
vxlogview -o 222 -t 00:20:00
