Parameter Description
Status The status of the disks.
l
Online indicates that the hard disk is configured in a RAID
group and operates normally.
l
Hotspare indicates that the disk is hotspare disk.
l
Rebuild indicates that the disk is being rebuilt.
l
Unconfigured(good) indicates that the hard disk is not
configured in a RAID group but operates normally.
l
Unconfigured(bad) indicates that the hard disk is not
configured in a RAID group and failed.
l
Failed indicates that the disk is configured in a RAID group
but is disabled.
l
Missing indicates that the disk is missing.
l
Offline indicates that the member disk in a RAID group is
offline.
Capacity
Indicates the capacity of disk in Figure 4-5 . Unit: GB .
NOTE
A 2 Terabyte disk has 2x10

bytes. In Figure 4-5 this is represented as
1.817 TB.
Type
Indicates the type of disk. The type of NetBackup 5200 is
SATA .
Enclosure ID Indicates the chassis ID where the disk located.

If a Slot Number of a present disk cannot be found in the interface, refer to "Detecting Only
Part of Disks" in the NetBackup 5200 Troubleshooting .
4.3 Checking the RAID Group Status
This section describes how to check the RAID group status on the system monitor interface.

The normal state of a RAID Group is Optimal .

Step 1 Log into the system monitor interface. For the detailed procedure, see from Step 1 to Step 5 in

Step 2 In the system monitor interface, view the RAID group status, as shown in Figure 4-6 . Table
4-3 lists the parameters and related description.
