Upgrading The Computer

Upgrading the Optical (CD/DVD) Device 6 - 7

Carefully (a fan and cable are attached to the under side of the cover) lift up the
component bay cover.

Carefully disconnect the fan cable

, and remove the cover

Remove the optical device screw

Use a screwdriver to carefully push out the optical device at point

Reverse the process to install the new device.
