Investigate cause of shutdown. If suspected of being attributed to an
engine or accessory problem, send engine or accessory to an approved
overhaul facility for Light Overhaul. Indicate engine shutdown and the
events and conditions at the time.

With shutdown not related to an engine problem (serviceable engine):
a. With stabilized windmilling Np not more than 20 rpm and less than 6
qt. of oil required to bring oil level to MAX on dipstick, no further action
is necessary.

greater than 20 rpm or if 6 qt. or more of oil is required to bring oil
