Installing the Backplane onto the Fan Bracket

Installing the Backplane

1. Ensure that all power has been disconnected from the chassis.

2. Hold the backplane by its edges and carefully place it against the fan mount-

ing bracket, aligning the mounting holes in the backplane with those in the fan
bracket.

3. Secure the two side mounting brackets to the backplane with the eight screws

previously set aside.

4. Secure the backplane to the front of the fan bracket using the eleven screws

previously set aside.

5. Reconnect all wiring to the backplane.
