Turning Off the Manufacturing Mode
The system board is shipped with the manufacturing mode on. You must turn the manufacturing
mode off for your system to operate correctly. If you do not turn off the manufacturing mode, the
BIOS and CMOS settings are repeatedly lost, the system may not boot correctly, or you will not be
able to flash update the BIOS.
If the manufacturing mode is on, the following message appears at the top of the screen as the
system boots:
System Operating in Manufacturing Mode: Press Alt-F to Reboot in
Normal Mode.
To turn the manufacturing mode off, perform the following steps:

After the message appears that states the system is operating in the manufacturing mode,
press <Alt><F> to turn off the manufacturing mode.

Reboot the system to verify that the manufacturing mode is off.
