Plug & Play OS
Choose the "No" setting for computers that do not meet the Plug and Play
specifications, which will allow the BIOS to configure all the devices in the
system. Choosing the "Yes" setting lets the operating system configure
PnP devices that are not required for boot up (if the system has a PnP
operating system). The operating system would have the ability to change
interrupt, I/O, and DMA settings. Normally, this option is set to "Disabled."
Reset Configuration Data
Choosing the "Yes" setting will cause the PnP configuration data in the BIOS
to be cleared on the next boot up. Choosing the "No" setting does not
force PnP data to be cleared on the next boot.
4-6 PCI PnP Setup
Choose PCI/PnP Setup from the AMIBIOS Setup main menu. All PCI/PnP
options are described in this section. The PCI/PnP Setup screen is shown
below.
