(Water pump function should be
available in both “DIG” mode and
“DUMP” mode.)
Oil flow diverted to auxiliary pump. Shift hydraulic directional control
valve on passenger side behind
cabinet.
Water by-pass valve open. Close by-pass valve.
Drain valve open. Close drain valve.
Plugged or dirty water supply
strainer.
Clean water supply strainer.
Nozzle too big or worn out. Replace nozzle.
Water hose leaking. Replace hoses.
Drive Coupling failure. Replace coupling between water
pump and hydraulic motor.
No hydraulic pressure. See “No hydraulic pressure”.
Electrical malfunction.
(Use manual override to verify
electrical malfunction. Turn
proportional control valve on water
control manifold counterclockwise
several turns with a 3mm Allen
Wrench.)
See Electrical troubleshooting.
Low air pressure. Never reaching
one hundred 100) PSI.
NOTE:
If truck air pressure gauge is
less than sixty-five (65) PSI, the
problem is in truck system or air
safety valve on truck air tank
connected to Mud Dog air system.
Solenoid valve or diaphragm valve
or filter stuck open.
Clean, repair or replace as required.
Faulty compressor or regulator on
truck.
Repair or replace.
Leak in air line, pneumatic valves,
cylinders or tanks
Locate, repair or replace as
required.
Defective air pressure gauge. Replace gauge.
