2. Basic splicing operation
1: Open the hood.
5: Close the hood.
6: Start an arc test or the splicing process.
2: Place the fiber holder onto the holder stage, fitting the pin of the
fiber holder stage into the hole of the fiber holder.
3: Place the other fiber holder
in the same way.
Do not touch the fiber end
face against any surface.
4: Ensure that the fibers are
resting in the V-groove.
The position of fiber placement is
different depending on the
number of fibers.
Place the fiber in the correct V-
groove according to the fiber
being used.
