Observe the safety instructions
for working with DC! Allow only
experts to carry out the works.
Do not disconnect energised
module jack connections!
Disconnecting the jack connections
during the operation can lead to non-
quenchable arcing and therefore to
personal injury and material damage.

The inverter must be connected
to the module fields properly.
Use only special solar cables and suit-
able plugs. The electric connection
between individual modules and to the
inverter must be made with plug con-
nections of the same type that are pre-
mounted on the modules. While doing
so, keep in mind secure and gap-free
connection of the plug connections.
In order to reduce over-voltages due to
lightning bolts, the surface of the con-
ductor loops must be as small as pos-
sible; avoid conductor loops with large
areas. In order to keep internal losses
in the cables low, the cable path must
be as short as possible.
The cables must not have cracks. Do
not use them as lifting aids or connect
under tensile stress.
Attach the cables to
the mounting system with UV-resistant
cable binders. Keep in mind the mini-
mum turning radius of the cabling;
see manufacturer’s information. While
introducing cables on roof do not run
them between roof tiles, use air bricks
as roof entering guides instead. Never
lay cables over sharp edges.
Mount cables in such a way that
they are never immersed in water
for long periods. Always keep in mind
the specified safety classes; the mini-
mum is IP65.
