fore, test measurement of modules
should only take place once the mod-
ules have been exposed sufficiently
(for about 20 minutes) to solar irradia-
tion. Under standard test conditions
(1000 W / m² / AM 1.5 / 25 °C), the time is
around ≤ 5 minutes.

The Surfurcell PV modules dealt
with in this document meet the
requirements of Application class A
(IEC 61730).
The Sulfurcell PV modules are safe
from back currents up to 5 A. Do not
feed external voltage of more than
UOC (see datasheet) into the module.
A maximum of four parallel strings
may be connected without additional
safety elements. If there are more than
four strings in parallel circuit, each
string must be individually fused.
PV modules stored for a long time in
the dark reach their rated output only
after exposure to sufficient solar irra-
diation with respect to duration and
