Module assembly – SCG-HV-L
The Sulfurcell PV modules SCG-HV-L
must only be mounted with mounting
system solutions that conform to the
technical requirements in accordance
with the document SP-09002 (Clip
Compatibility – Series SCG-HV-L) and
have been approved in advance by
Sulfurcell.
The height of the four laminate clamps
on which the module will be fastened
must not vary by more than 5 mm. If
the variation is more, the module may
break in case of strong squalls or heavy
snow cover on the module.
The solar modules must be mounted
alternately at four points to the cross-
ties. The clamps on the longer side of
the PV module must be positioned
within the mounting zone of 250 mm to
350 mm (clamp for dimension between
axes) (see dimension drawing). The
narrower side of the module must not
be fastened.
Ensure that the rubber insert in the
laminate clamp does not slip off during
the installation.
Since the modules expand in heat, the
modules must be placed with a mini-
mum gap of 5 mm from each other
(horizontally, vertically). Position the solar
modules at a 5° angle from the floor.
The modules can be mounted vertically
and laterally; the system must be
secured against slipping if the mount-
ing is vertical.
