Warnings for planning
and operation of the PV
modules
– The modules must not be operated
when there is a short circuit.
– It is not permitted to mount the
modules as overhead glazing.
– It is not permitted to channelise light
on the module surface by mirror or
other devices (e.g. lenses and mirror).
– Use of PV modules SCG-HV-L and
SCG-HV-RI in areas with high snow
force (>2400Pa) is not permitted.
– Maritime and mobile applications are
generally not permitted.
– Keep a distance of 200 m from the
coastline if mounting close to the
coast.
– Before starting the PV system
installation, get information from
the responsible offices and energy
supplier about the directives, regula-
tions and permit requirements.
Follow them while carrying out the
installation.

Warnings for installing
the PV modules
– The modules must be handled with
utmost care. Please be very careful
while unpacking, transporting storing
and mounting them. Observe the
warning instructions on the packaging!
– Defective modules must be replaced
immediately for safety reasons.
– Transport modules properly
– Carry modules with both hands, do
not use connection jack or cable as
handles; avoid turning or tilting the
modules.
– Do not place modules on top of
each other; do not place load on the
modules, step on them or drop them
– Do not handle modules with
pointed objects; do not open or
modify modules.
– Keep all electrical contacts clean
and dry
– Do not immerse the modules in water
