The open circuit voltage must not
exceed the maximum system
voltage of 1000 VDC. Exceeding permit-
ted system voltage can lead to danger-
ous leakage currents between the
module and mounting frame.
Site-specific surrounding conditions
must also be kept in mind while laying
out the electrical fittings. PV modules
can significantly increase higher volt-
ages in certain conditions (e.g. low
temperatures, high irradiance values).
All components connected to the PV
system must have an operating voltage
area that includes the maximum power
point (MPP) and is always in a situation
to follow the MPP. They must also be
equipped for the maximum operating
voltage of the PV system.
While selecting the inverter keep in
mind that there can be no negative
potential against the earthing potential.
In inverters without transformers,
the capacitive leakage currents of
the inverter must not be greater than
those in devices with a transformer. In
case of doubt, please get in touch with
Sulfurcell for information on suitable
transformers.
The system must be integrated into
the existing potential equalisation.
Potential equalisation connections and
contacts must be created by a qualified
technician.
Please refer to the datasheet for
detailed electrical and mechanical
module data. The electrical rated data
of a module is indicated on its label.
The output tolerance is -2 / +8 %; all
other electrical values for current and
voltage can be entered with a ±10 %
variation. These values have been
determined under standard test condi-
tions (STC).
