TEST / ACTION
A.
If unit is NOT experiencing cooling problems, clear error code.
B.
If unit is experiencing cooling problems, initiate Manual Component Activation Mode to energize compressor:
1.
If compressor will not start, replace VS Compressor Controller.
2.
If compressor starts, but will not stay running, check for restrictions in sealed system.
3.
If compressor runs,

If unit is NOT experiencing cooling problems, clear error code.
B.

1.
Check cleanliness of condenser. Clean if needed.
2.
Check condenser fan operation and electrical connections. Repair connections or replace fan.
3.
If condenser airflow is good, replace VS compressor controller.
A.
If unit is NOT experiencing cooling problems, clear error code.
B.
If unit is experiencing cooling problems:
1.
Check serial communication wire leads for proper connection orientation at electronic control board and VS
compressor controller.
2.
Check for damaged or disconnected serial communication wire leads between electronic control board and VS
compressor controller. Repair or replace wiring / connections.
3.
If wiring and electrical connections are good, replace electronic control board and VS compressor controller.

After repairs, always clear Error Codes by pressing Bell ON/OFF key for 15 seconds.
