11.7 Condensate pump
Cold water condensate pump
The condensate pump conveys condensed water, which occurs in A/C units during cooling and dehumidifi
-
cation. The operation is controlled by a float switch depending on the level. An alarm contact is triggered at a
water level of 40 mm inside the pump tank.
The pump motor is protected by a thermal fuse. At a temper-
ature of 130 ° C, the motor is switched off and automatically
switched on again, as soon as the temperature has dropped.

Installation
The pump must stand horizontally.
• Remove the transport safety device by pulling out the
plastic strip (see illustration).
• Place the pump in a frost-proof and water-free place.
For Downflow units: in the raised floor
For Upflow units (if there is no raised floor): on the floor
next to the air conditioning unit.
