WARNING: SUCTION LOSS
– Suction is lost in both
canisters for at least 30 seconds during the EMPTY
4L CANISTER operation. Make sure the loss of
suction will not compromise patient safety.
If a 4-liter full canister condition occurs, perform one of
the following three options:
1. If the 20-liter canister can receive the contents of
the 4-liter canister, touch the EMPTY 4L CANISTER
button. An EMPTY 4L CANISTER dialog will appear
(Figure 33). Touch the CONFIRM button if the loss of
suction will not compromise patient safety.
