4.3. Operation and use with remote control (where is fitted).
The remote control handset will indicate on its face whether circuit is live. The
operations on the handset are clearly marked. Always use the handset inside the cab of
the tractor or in a safe location where you have good visibility of the operation or the
equipment.
Use the remote control handset to control the equipment.
CAUTION!
Ensure all persons are clear of the power shaft before engaging the drive.
The remote control handset must be placed in the area where no obstacles
or loose objects might accidentally activate a switch.
Use slow and precise motions of the main cylinders when loading/unloading container
with the tractor at tick over.
Higher RPM of tractor engine increases the movement speed of the middle and hook
tower frames.
WARNING!
The operation of the HookLoada trailer must take place in the correct
sequence.
Do only one operation at the same time.
4.4. Loading and unloading a container
4.4.1. Preparation for operation
Before loading a container the condition of the container’s hookbar should be checked.
Maximum allowed wear of the lifting hookbar: 10% of the nominal diameter. Also check
the longitudinal chassis rails at the bottom of container.
Make sure that the container that will be picked up suits the hook lift system.
When loading container for first time watch that container pushing device on hook tower
fits container well. Gap should be 2-5mm (see
Figure 13
).
