3) Available commands (program steps):
Partition
This command should always be the first step of a Crystal Digital PCR™. It
generates droplets and partitions the sample (enter 40 degrees for the
temperature parameter and select “Sapphire V1” in the drop-down menu).
Temperature
Use this command to insert a temperature step.
Cycle
Use this command to define a program cycle (loop), consisting of several
individual program steps.
Release
This command should always be the last step of a Crystal Digital PCR™. It
allows to return to ambient temperature and pressure conditions (select
“Sapphire V1” version in the drop-down menu).
Store
This command keeps the thermal plate temperature at the set temperature
value. It can be used after “Release” to store the samples at a constant
temperature until removal. If the exact time of sample removal is uncertain
activ
ate the infinite field (chip storing after Crystal Digital PCR™ under 20°C
should be evaluated by the user).
Pressure
Only for advanced users. Please contact Technical Support for more help.
Wait
Use this command to interrupt a running program temporarily at a defined
temperature value.
Pause
Add this command to include a pause step in a program at a defined
temperature value. A pop-up with the
“pause icon”
will appear on the
screen of the Geode. The program will continue only after touching the screen.
Start cycle
Manual cycle beginning.
Close cycle
Manual cycle ending.
Define the parameters of the steps inserted by pressing the “pencil icon”
, or discard an
inserted step using the
“delete icon”
.
