Operation
Commissioning the C frames
Loading the C frames
WARNING
Risk of injury from becoming trapped!
– Loading and unloading must only be performed
by the driver. The driver must ensure that no
other persons are in the vicinity of the frames.
– The frames must not be loaded or unloaded on
gradients.
– It must be ensured that the trolleys are correctly
inserted into the frames so that the securing bolts
are fully visible.
CAUTION
Trolleys with tall, heavy loads may tip over when
cornering.
– Lash the load to the trolleys if necessary.
– Place the load on the trolleys with the centre of
gravity as low as possible.
– Apply the parking brake on the tow tractor to
secure it against rolling away.
– Lower the frame by actuating the lowering
switch on the tow tractor.
– Adjust the position of the fork arms so
that the trolleys to be transported can be
held safely; refer to the chapter entitled
"Adjusting the fork arms".
– Unlock the securing bolt by actuating the
foot pedal.
