Display messages
The parking brake will make a noise when it is
applied. After the push button is released, the
parking brake will not make any further noise;
if you hear the parking brake release again it
means that the push button was pressed for
less than five seconds. In this case, press the
push button again to apply the parking brake
again. Repeat this process up to four times if
necessary.
Releasing the parking brake:
– Press the push button (1) then release the
push button.
The parking brake will make a noise when it
is released. If the malfunction in the parking
brake persists, it will not be possible to release
the parking brake.
Actuating a faulty parking brake when the
truck is in motion
– Press push button.
The parking brake is applied.
NOTE
The truck will brake more sharply if the push
button (1) is pressed and held for a long period
or if the push button is pressed multiple times.
Switching off the truck when the electric
parking brake is faulty
If the electric parking brake cannot be applied
and the driver tries to switch off the truck,
the truck will not switch off at first. Instead,
the truck responds with the following error
messages:
