16. Maintenance
WARNING Electrocution
f
f
Before working on the appliance, isolate it from the
power supply at the control panel.
Following isolation from the mains supply, parts of the
appliance may remain live for up to 2 minutes since the
capacitors still have to discharge into the inverter.
DANGER Risk of electrocution!
Prior to maintenance work, isolate the internal and
external units from the power supply.
Note
Ensure that the refrigerant circuit is tested once a year for
leaks, in accordance with EC DIRECTIVE 517/2014.
The tightness test must be documented in the log.
f
f
Before any work on the appliance, disconnect all poles of any
in-built electric components from the power supply.
f
f
Regularly vent the safety valve until a full stream of water
flows from it. Close the safety valve following inspection.
Please note that the heating system is only free of dirt if the strai-
ners are completely clean following a prolonged pump runtime.
!
Material damage
Escaping refrigerant is damaging to the environment.
Any leaks in the refrigerant circuit must be remedied
immediately. Work on the refrigerant circuit must only
be carried out by qualified contractors.
We recommend a regular inspection (to establish the current con-
dition of the system), and maintenance if required (to return the
system to its original condition).
