P PROPORTION
Proportional component
This parameter is used to set the output matching of the heat pump
per kelvin control deviation.
38
CNTRL RESP TM
Integral component
The integral component influences the stabilisation speed of the
heat pump output controller.
The heat pump output controller functions primarily as an integ-
ral controller. The control deviation (the differential between the
actual and set heating circuit temperatures) is totalled up over
the time, and the result is the integral of the control deviation in
kelvin minutes. Every time the value specified by this parameter is
reached, the heat pump is operated at the maximum output stage.
A large integral component reduces the speed of the heat pump
output controller. This setting is recommended for slow-response
heating systems, such as underfloor heating systems.
A small integral component increases the speed of the heat pump
output controller. This setting is suited to highly responsive hea-
ting systems, such as radiator heating.

HTG SIZING
Design outside temperature (dual mode point) for maximum
heat pump output
The design outside temperature for the maximum heat pump
output (dual mode point) in heating mode is an indicator for the
output controller of the heat pump in heating mode to optimise
the compressor speed control subject to the outside temperature.
Set the dual mode temperature here. In mono mode designs,
the dual mode temperature corresponds to the standard outside
temperature.
To determine the dual mode point, run a line from the heating limit
temperature through the rated design point. The intersection of
the line with the maximum output curve indicates the dual mode
point (see “Example: Determining the dual mode point”). Set the
temperature of this point as “Design temperature Heating” in the
controller. If no intersection is created, set the temperature at
“–20 °C”.
The required output diagrams can be found in chapter “Specifi-
cation / Output diagram WPL 15 IKS-2” and chapter “Specification
/ Output diagram WPL 25 IK-2”.

MIN RUNTM COMP
This parameter delays compressor shut down. Every time the com-
pressor starts, the compressor runs for no less than the time set
under parameter MIN RUNTM COMP.
Exception: If the temperature limiter responds, the compressor is
immediately shut down.
41
POWER BLOCKED
If the power-OFF is set to OFF, no consumer will be blocked.
If power-OFF is set to ON, corresponding consumers will be blo-
cked if a power-OFF period is active.
There are three options for the ON setting:
- Heat pump: The heat pump is blocked.
- DHC stages: The electric booster for heating operation is
blocked.
- HP + DHC: The electric booster for heating operation and the
heat pump is blocked.
42
COMP IDLE TIME
After a heat pump has been switched off, an idle time is set as
protection for the compressor. The default idle time of 10 minutes
should normally not be reduced. Where a reduction is required
because of adjustments or repair work, reset the idle time again
to 10 minutes after completing the necessary work.
43
COMP DLAY CNTR
Pressing PRG enables you to call up the compressor idle time.
44
QUICK START
During commissioning, you can test the heat pump function by
triggering a heat pump quick start:
When this parameter is started, OFF appears at the bottom of
the display.
f
f
Press the programming key to initiate a heat pump quick
start.
The respective pumps are switched on after the heat pump has
started. The display visibly counts down from 10 to 0. ON is dis-
played.
