☐
With Horizontal Stabilizer square within
fuselage, bond top and bottom of Stabilizer
on both right and left sides of model.
☐
Remove wing from fuselage.
☐
Use a sharp knife and open pockets on
underside of wing to receive aileron servos.
☐
Attach 12 in. servo extension to each of the
two HS-65HB aileron servos.
Route extensions through servo pocket
opening in bottom of wing, then through
paper guide tubes, finally exit extensions at
wing center section.
☐
Make two aileron push rods. Cut a 3-7/8 in
length of 0.045 in. dia. wire, then make a 1/4
in. 90 deg. bend to one end.
☐
Use two HS-65HB servos for ailerons.
Prepare servos for mounting by removing
stock servo horn then using your radio to
electronically center servo.
With servos centered, use hardware that
shipped with your servos to mount through
right and left servo pockets in wing.
Prepare servo horns. Locate the long, single
sided, control horn that shipped with your
HS-65HB servo. Install Du-Bro RC Micro E/Z
Connector [DUB845] through second hole
from inside of horn.
Mount prepared servo horns to, centered,
servos with horn perpendicular to servo body
and facing wing tip. Pass wire push rods
(straight side first) through EZ connector.
Attach push rod to aileron control horn using
provided Micro2 E/Z Link [DUB27805]. For
safety, place a 1/8 in. cut length of fuel tubing
over E/Z link to prevent failure of this part.
Center ailerons, then, tighten set screw in EZ
connectors to retain position.
