Fuselage Construction Cont.

If  formers  F3a  -  F6a  have  been  properly 

installed  (etching  forward)  tubing  runs  are 

clearly identified.

Tubing runs  cross  just aft  of  former  F5a with 

rudder  exiting aft  slot on left  of fuselage and 

elevator  exiting  forward  slot  on  right  of 

fuselage.

Pull push rod tubing through fuselage leaving 

1/4 in. projecting forward of former F3a.  Bond 

with  medium  and  thick  CA  glue  to  retain.  

Finally, cut tube flush with side of fuselage.

Battery Hatch

Bond H1a to H1b to create part H1.

☐

Bond, two each, parts  H2 to H1 as  illustrated 

below.   

Note:  H2  is  tabbed  to  fit  only  one 

direction within H1.

Fit  then bond hatch formers  H3, H4,  H5, H6, 

and  H7  to  assembly  as  illustrated  below.  

Note:  formers  are  not  intended  to  install 

perpendicular to H1.
