Bleeding air from the cylinders
1.
Lower the lift to the lowest position.
2.
Continue pressing the lowering button for an amount of time.
Now most of the air will move from the system to the tank.
Adjustment of maximum height limit
1.
Lower the lift to the floor.
Check that the LED 804 "IN RANGE" is on.
2.
Raise the lift to the highest position.
The lift should stop before the mechanical stop is reached.
3.
Measure, if required, the inclinometer values as described in section
Note
n
The system is also provided with a programmable maximum height adjustment. This
can be activated to prevent high trucks hitting the ceiling of the workshop or can be
adjusted to the length of the mechanic. See also
4.7 ’Programmable features’ on
.
The lift is now operational and further adjustment is normally not necessary. If
normal operation is not possible (e.g. the lift will not raise from its lowest position),
then check the inclinometer adjustments with the lift in the lowest position. Check the
tolerance of the adjustment on the fault code display.
Note
n
If one dot is shown, then the adjustment is accurate within 3/8" (10 mm), and if two
dots are shown, then the adjustment is accurate within 3/16" (5 mm). The lift should
already be operational with only one dot visible.
