2.1.15. SNMP MIB

The enterprise MIB for the platform is accessible from Alarms tab of the GUI
interface as shown in Section 2.1.11 (click the “Click to view MIB” string).

2.2. Telnet

Terminal management can also be performed via a telnet connection over TCP/IP
via the front panel Ethernet ports. Contact the factory for more information on
management via telnet.

2.3. Serial Console

In  the  event  that  the  IP  address  of  the  IDU  is  not  known,  the  serial  console
interface provides  quick access to this parameter. The current IP address can be
obtained  by  connecting  the  RS-232  serial  port  of  a  computer  to  the  front  panel
Serial Console port of the IDU. (See Section 1.2.4 for details of terminal emulator
setup parameters.) The IP address of the IDU is shown at the serial console login
prompt  (no  need  to  log  in).easy  access  It  is  not  recommended  that  the  Serial
Console be used to configure or manage the IDU.
