2) Den gewünschten Titel anwählen (

5.1.2). Nach der Titelanwahl steht der Player am
Auto-Cue-Punkt des Titels (
→
Kapitel 5.3.1).
3) Die Taste CUE (14) gedrückt halten. Der Titel
wird so lange angespielt, wie die Taste gedrückt
gehalten wird. Der Player bleibt dabei im Pausen -
modus.
4) Nach dem Loslassen der Taste springt der Player
zurück auf den Auto-Cue-Punkt.
5.3.1 Auto-Cue-Punkt
Wird ein Titel mit der Taste
oder
(15) oder
mit dem Drehrad (1) angewählt, springt der Player
exakt an die Stelle, an der die Mu sik des Titels be -
ginnt (meistens nicht bei dem Zeitindex 00 : 00 : 00,
sondern einige Frames später z. B. 00 : 00 : 15).
Diese Stelle wird als Startpunkt des Titels (Auto-
Cue-Punkt) ge
speichert und über die Taste CUE
(14) und die Einblendung CUE (C) angezeigt:
– Läuft das Abspielen nach der Titelwahl weiter, blin-
ken die Taste und die Anzeige CUE dreimal auf.
– Schaltet der Player nach einer Titelwahl auf
Pause, blinken die Taste und die Anzeige CUE
dreimal, dann wechselt die Taste auf permanen-
tes Leuchten und CUE bleibt eingeblendet.
Werden die Titel jedoch hintereinander ab gespielt
(d. h. nicht mit den Tasten
/
oder dem Dreh-
rad angewählt), werden
keine
Auto-Cue-Punkte ge -
speichert.
Hinweis:
Nach jedem Einschalten des Geräts und nach
jedem Umschalten auf einen anderen Datenträger steht
der Player am Auto-Cue-Punkt des 1. Titels.
5.4 Schneller Vor- und Rücklauf
Um das Drehrad (1) auf die Funktion „schneller
Vor-/ Rücklauf“ umzuschalten, die Taste SEARCH (8)
drücken (Taste leuchtet), dann das Rad drehen:
rechtsherum für den Vorlauf, linksherum für den
Rücklauf. Die Vor- bzw. Rücklaufgeschwindigkeit
hängt von der Drehgeschwindigkeit des Rads ab.
Im Pausenmodus wird nach einem Vor-/ Rücklauf
die aktuelle Stelle ständig wiederholt, bis die Wie-
dergabe mit der Taste
(16) gestartet wird.
Hinweis:
Die Funktion „schneller Vor-/ Rücklauf“ schaltet
sich aus (Taste SEARCH erlischt):
– wenn für 8 Sekunden das Rad nicht mehr gedreht wird.
– wenn mit der Taste TRACK/ FOLDER (7) in den Ord-
nerwahlmodus geschaltet wird.
5.5 Genaues Anfahren einer Stelle
Mit dem Drehrad (1) lässt sich im Pausenmodus
eine Stelle bis auf 1 Frame (

Sekunde) genau an -
fahren. Leuchtet die Taste SEARCH (8), diese erst
durch Drücken der Taste deaktivieren. Dann das
Rad entsprechend vor- oder zurückdrehen. Nach
dem Drehen wird die aktuelle Stelle ständig wieder-
holt, bis die Wiedergabe mit der Taste
(16)
gestartet wird.
5.6
Sprung zu einer zuvor bestimmten Stelle
1) Während des Abspielens mit der Taste
(16)
auf Pause schalten, wenn die Stelle erreicht ist,
zu der später zurückgesprungen werden soll.
2) Leuchtet die Taste SEARCH (8), diese erst durch
Drücken der Taste deaktivieren. Dann die Stelle
mit dem Drehrad (1) exakt anfahren. Sie ist fort-
laufend zu hören.
3) Das Abspielen mit der Taste
wieder starten.
Die zuvor angefahrene Stelle ist jetzt als Cue-
Punkt markiert, die Taste CUE (14) blinkt dreimal
auf und im Display blinkt dreimal CUE (C).
4) Um auf den Cue-Punkt zurückzuspringen, die
Taste CUE drücken: Der Player steht am Cue-
Punkt auf Pause, die Taste CUE leuchtet und das
Display zeigt CUE.
5) Mit der Taste
die Wiedergabe starten oder die
Taste CUE gedrückt halten. Nach dem Loslassen
der Taste CUE steht der Player wieder am
gesetzten Cue-Punkt auf Pause.
Hinweis:
Wenn der Player auf den Auto-Cue-Punkt eines
Titels springt, z. B. bei einer Titelanwahl, wird der gesetzte
Cue-Punkt durch den Auto-Cue-Punkt des Titels ersetzt

5.7 Wiederholfunktionen
Mit der Taste REPEAT (10) lassen sich zwei Wie-
derholfunktionen auswählen, die eingeschaltete
Funktion wird im Display durch die entsprechende
Einblendung (P) an gezeigt.
1. Tastendruck (Einblendung REPEAT 1):
Endloswiederholung des aktuellen Titels
2. Tastendruck (Einblendung REPEAT ALL):
Endloswiederholung aller Titel des Datenträgers
bzw. aller Titel einer programmierten Titelfolge

Die Wiederholfunktionen lassen sich nur in den Be -
triebsmodi „Continue“ und „Continue Robo“ nutzen:
Wird im Modus „Single“ bzw. „Single Robo“ die
Taste REPEAT zum Einschalten der Wiederholung
gedrückt, wechselt der Player automatisch in den
Modus „Continue“ bzw. „Continue Robo“.
Zum Ausschalten der Wiederholung die Taste
REPEAT erneut drücken. Das Wechseln in einen
der „Single“-Modi führt ebenfalls zur Ausschaltung
der Wiederholung.
Hinweis:
Ist eine Wiederholfunktion aktiv und befindet
sich der Player im Modus „Continue Robo“, wechselt die
Wiedergabe nicht auf den anderen Player.
5.8 Schleife abspielen
Über die Tasten SEAMLESS LOOP (17) lässt sich
ein Abschnitt auf dem Datenträger speichern und als
nahtlose Schleife beliebig oft wiederholen.
1) Mit der Taste
(16) auf Wiedergabe schalten.
Ist der gewünschte Startpunkt des Abschnitts er -
one player, the other player will also exit the Robo

On each player, the replay can be manually
switched over from one player to the other player

5.3 Short replay of a title beginning
1) When the operating mode “Continue” or “Con-
tinue Robo” is activated, switch to pause with the
button
(16). In the mode “Single” or “Single
Robo”, the player can be set to replay or pause.
2) Select the desired title (
→
chapter 5.1.2). After
the title selection, the player will go to the Auto
Cue point of the title (
→
chapter 5.3.1).
3) Keep the button CUE (14) pressed. The begin-
ning of the title will be played as long as the but-
ton is pressed. In the process, the player remains
in the pause mode.
4) After releasing the button, the player will return to
the Auto Cue point.
5.3.1 Auto Cue point
When a title is selected with the button
or
(15) or with the rotary wheel (1), the player will pre-
cisely go to the spot where the music of the title
starts (usually not at the time index 00 : 00 : 00, but
some frames later, e. g. 00 : 00 : 15). This spot will be
memorized as the starting point of the title (Auto Cue
point) and indicated via the button CUE (14) and the
insertion CUE (C):
– If the replay is continued after the title selection, the
button and the indication CUE will flash three times.
– If the player is set to pause after a title selection,
the button and the indication CUE will flash three
times, then the button will change to permanent
illumination and CUE remains inserted.
However, when the titles are replayed successively
(i. e. not selected with the buttons
/
or with
the rotary wheel),
no
Auto Cue points will be memo-
rized.
Note:
Each time the unit is switched on and each time it is
switched to another data carrier, the player will go to the
Auto Cue point of the first title.
5.4 Fast forward/reverse
To switch over the rotary wheel (1) to the function
“fast forward/reverse”, press the button SEARCH (8)
[button illuminated], then turn the wheel: clockwise
for fast forward, counter-clockwise for fast reverse.
The forward/reverse speed will depend on the turn-
ing speed of the wheel.
After fast forward/reverse in the pause mode, the
current spot will be constantly repeated until the
replay is started with the button
(16).
Note:
The function “fast forward
/
reverse” will be deacti-
vated (button SEARCH extinguished):
– if the wheel is not turned for 8 seconds.
– if the unit is set to the folder selection mode with the
button TRACK/FOLDER (7).
5.5 Precise selection of a certain spot
With the rotary wheel (1), a spot can be precisely
selected to 1 frame (

second) in the pause mode.
When the button SEARCH (8) is illuminated, deacti-
vate it first by pressing the button. Then turn the
wheel forward or backward accordingly. After turn-
ing, the current spot will be constantly repeated until
the replay is started with the button
(16).
5.6 Return to a spot previously defined
1) During the replay, set the unit to pause with the
button
(16) when the spot is reached where
you wish to return to later.
2) When the button SEARCH (8) is illuminated,
deactivate it first by pressing the button. Then
precisely go to the spot with the rotary wheel (1).
It will be replayed continuously.
3) Restart the replay with the button
. The spot
previously defined is marked as a Cue point now;
the button CUE (14) will flash three times and
CUE (C) will flash three times on the display.
4) To return to the Cue point, press the button CUE:
The player is set to pause at the Cue point, the
button CUE will be illuminated and the display will
show CUE.
5) Start the replay with the button
or keep the
button CUE pressed. After releasing the button
CUE, the player will be set to pause again at the
Cue point defined.
Note:
When the player goes to the Auto Cue point of a title,
e. g. when a title is selected, the Cue point defined will be
replaced by the Auto Cue point of the title

5.7 Repeat functions
With the button REPEAT (10), two repeat functions
can be selected; the activated function will be indi-
cated on the display by the corresponding insertion
(P).
1st actuation of button (insertion REPEAT 1):
continuous repeat of the current title
2nd actuation (insertion REPEAT ALL):
continuous repeat of all titles of the data carrier
or all titles of a programmed title sequence

The repeat functions can only be used in the operat-
ing modes “Continue” and “Continue Robo”: When
the button REPEAT is pressed to activate the repeat
in the mode “Single” or “Single Robo”, the player will
automatically change to the mode “Continue” or
“Continue Robo”.
To deactivate the repeat, press the button REPEAT
once again. Change to one of the “Single” modes will
also deactivate the repeat.
Note:
When a repeat function is active and the player is in
the mode “Continue Robo”, the replay will not change to
the other player.
