Operation with a new Compact Flash
Card
The Pro DVR will only
operate with Compact
Flash cards formatted
with a FAT32 File
System. Before using a
new Compact Flash
card check its File
System by inserting into
a PC and displaying the
card properties by right
clicking the disk icon in
“My Computer”.
If the Compact Flash
card was supplied as
FAT16, reformat to
FAT32 using Windows
XP or Vista’s format
utility to select the File
System (see Formatting
a Compact Flash card
below).
