Application
Siedle-Classic-door station
CL A
01
... is designed for flush
mounting in walls. The number
01
stands for the number of call
buttons. The door station CL A 01
B
is used for the Siedle In Home bus
system, the
B
standing for bus
system. The door station designated
CL A 01
N
is used for core-saving
1+n-systems with HTS/HTC 711-... .
It is possible to interconnect more
than one door station in one system.
The installation principle used by
Siedle-Classic is structured in the
same way as for Siedle-Vario, with
installation taking place using a
terminal block for each module. On
each terminal block, the name of the
module is printed, e.g. TLM 612-0,
and the designation of each screw
terminal is separately indicated next
to the terminal.
•
Electrical devices may only be
!
installed, mounted and serviced
by suitably qualified electricians.
•
No external voltages greater than
50 V are admissible inside the flush
mount housing of the door station
in compliance with
DIN VIDE 0100 / END 60065.
Conductor lengths and Range
In-Home-bus
Door station - line rectifier 300 m
(984.25 feet).
Line rectifier - in-house telephone
300 m (984.25 feet.). This data
relates to a core diameter of
0.8 mm.
1+n-systems
Maximum conductor length from
the door station to the line rectifier
100 m (328.08 feet), door station to
the in-house telephone 400 m
(1312.33 feet). This data relates to a
core diameter of 0.8 mm.
1 Scope of delivery:
a
Flush-mount housing made of
galvanized sheet steel
b
Plaster guard
c
Front panel including function
module and call button(s) with
integrated lighting
d
Allen key size 2.5
Nylon cord for fixture of the front
panel (see Fig. 4)
Fixing screws for cable holding
down fixture/strain relief
(see Fig 5)
Mounting
Remove the plaster guard from the
flush mount housing, break out the
cable bushing from the housing and
thread in the cable. Reinforce the
flush mount housing using the
plaster guard and grout in with the
front flush to the outside wall.
•
The front panel with the
ii
functional units must not be
plastered in with the housing.
•
If the final plaster is applied at a
later juncture, the front panel must
first be removed.
2
Insert the plaster guard into the
flush mount housing.
3
Grout in the flush mount housing
flush with the surface (note the
mounting position, see marking in
the flush mount housing). The
plaster guard must be inserted in the
housing in order to prevent
deformation. Recommended
mounting height for centre flush
mount housing between 1.40 and
1.60 m (4.59 feet - 5.25 feet). It
must not under any circumstances
stand proud of the wall, and must
be grouted to a maximum of 8 mm
(0.31 inch.) in the wall, as otherwise
the fixing screws for the front panel
will be too short.
4
Turn the 2 sheet metal supports
at the flush mount housing towards
the outside, position the front panel
and fasten in the flush mount
housing and at the module carrier
using the provided cord.
AS-TH-1/1
Connect the CL A ...
B
in accordance
with the AS-TH-1/1
(In-Home-bus). The call buttons are
connected to the BRMA 050-0
mounted on the module carrier of
the BTLM 650-...
The light button at the in-house
telephone can be used to actuate,
for example, the staircase light in
conjunction with a time relay (e.g.
ZR 502-0). Contact pick-off at the
BVSG terminal Li against terminal Li.
AS-T-64/1
Connect the CL A ...
N
in accordance
with the AS-T-64/1
(1+n-system). The call buttons are
connected to the ZD 061-10, which
is mounted on the module carrier of
the TLM 612-...
d) The light button at the in-house
telephone can be used to actuate,
for example, the staircase light in
conjunction with a time relay (e.g.
ZR 502-0). Contact pick-off at the
door station (terminal block
TLM 612-..) terminal Li against
terminal c.
5
To ensure that the wiring is neatly
executed, the installation cable can
be fastened at the module carrier.
For this purpose, the moulded-on
cable clips can be broken out of the
module carrier. The installation cable
is then screwed with the cable strain
relief device at the module carrier
using the provided screws.
6
Following completion of
installation, mount the front panel
on the flush mount housing and
screw into place.
The sealing strip fastened at the
back of the front panel must lie flush
with the outside wall in order to
guarantee an adequate seal.
