7.1.3 CLEARING USER SETTINGS
Your SportsArt XT50 Cross Trainer was designed and constructed to provide years of
trouble-free usage. However, all electro-mechanical products require some care. Simple
maintenance, such as cleaning, can extend the life of this product.
Establishing a regular cleaning routine is the single most important thing you can do to
maintain this product's performance. To clean this product:
Use a diluted solution of mild soap and water to dampen a clean, lint-free cloth.
Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals, including ammonia in glass cleaners,
when cleaning this product.
Wipe off the display, body, and pedals of this product. The accumulation of dirt,
especially on moving parts, can cause bumpy, hesitant operation.
After each use, wipe perspiration off the equipment. Perspiration is corrosive and
can damage the performance of this product.
Like periodic cleaning, a regular inspection routine can help keep this product in
optimum performance.
Look and listen for slipping belts, loose fasteners, and bearing wear. Contact the
SportsArt Service Department for repairs.
Disconnect power before removing covers or accessing electronic components.
Some components maintain an electrical charge after the product is turned off. ]
Do not attempt to repair the product without adequate training.
Refer service to certified service technicians only.
When you select a USER ID, the user's accumulated time, distance, and calorie values
appear. The user's accumulated time appears as hh:mm (hours: minutes). When the
accumulated time exceeds 99:59, minutes disappear; 100 (hours) appears. Maximum
time is 9999 hours.
Once the maximum time appears, you must clear the time memory as follows.
While the user ID appears on the screen, simultaneously press the STOP and ENTER
keys.
