6.2.1. Headrest
The headrests (

) can be adjusted for height or removed completely. Adjust the position of the head-
rest ( 1.1 ) as follows.
Pull up the headrest ( 1.1 ) or push down the headrest ( 1.1 ) until the headrest ( 1.1 ) engages in the re-
quired position.
Remove the headrest (
1.1
) as follows:
Variant A
To remove the headrest ( 1.1 ), pull the headrest ( 1.1 ) out of the topmost position with a jerk
Variant B
Press the two securing buttons on the rear of the seat and pull out the headrest (
1.1
).
6.2.2. Backrest
The backrest can be adjusted for tilt in the range of ~20° – ~160° (90° corresponds to the upright posi-
tion). Adjust the backrest tilt as follows:
Variant A
Actuate the lever (
1.2
) and move the backrest to the required position.
Variant B
Turn the adjusting wheel ( 1.2 ) to the front or rear to move the backrest to the required position.
6.2.3. Armrests
The armrests can be adjusted for tilt. Adjust the armrest tilt as follows:
Variant A
Turn the handwheel ( 1.3 ) on the underside of the related armrest counter-clockwise or clockwise until
the required position is reached.
Variant B
Turn the handwheel (
1.3
) (see Figure 24 “Seats (examples): Manual adjustments”, page 73) on the under-
side of the related armrest counter-clockwise or clockwise until the required position is reached.
6.2.4. Seat cushion
The seat cushion can be adjusted for seat depth and seat tilt.
Adjust the seat depth as follows.
Variant A
Actuate the lever ( 1.4 ) and move the seat cushion to the required position.
Variant B
Actuate the lever (
1.4
) upward and move the seat cushion to the required position.
Adjust the seat cushion tilt as follows.
Only variant A
Actuate the lever ( 1.5 ) and move the seat cushion to the required position.
