QuadPlex
:
QuadPlex
unit number. Each layout includes one row for each
QuadPlex
unit that
is required to create that layout. This column also includes a colored square that corresponds
to the visual depiction of that unit’s outputs are arranged in the layout shown in the
Layout
column. The notation
direct
indicates that a video source connects directly to a display without
passing through a
QuadPlex
unit.
Outputs:
Number of HD displays that are connected to each
QuadPlex
output.
Layout:
Visual depiction of each layout. Each colored square corresponds to a single HD
display connected to a
QuadPlex
unit. The color of each square corresponds to the
QuadPlex
unit that is driving that display. For example, the first 6 x 1 layout shows three displays being
driven by
QuadPlex
Unit 1 and three displays being driven by
QuadPlex
Unit 2. The second 6
x 1 layout shows four displays being driven by
QuadPlex
Unit 1 and two by
QuadPlex
Unit 2.
No t e
lists many commonly-used layouts, but this list is far from complete because is
impossible to list all of the possible
QuadPlex
layouts. If you need to create a layout that is
not in this list, then contact RGB Spectrum Technical Support for assistance. See
