The
Input settings
tab is where you configure
the input signal settings on the
DisplayPort IN
or
HDMI IN
connector of the selected
QuadPlex
device. Remember that input settings are
defined on a per-device, per-layout basis,
meaning that you must first select both of the
following:
The virtual device you want to configure
“Working with Virtual Devices” on
).
The layout you want to work on (see
).
From top to bottom, this tab includes the
following functions:
Input mode:
This pull-down menu allows you to match the resolution and refresh rate used by
your video source. Scaling may occur if the input mode is different from the actual input signal.
Also, a mismatch between the selected input mode and the actual input signal will be indicated
through the On Screen Display (OSD) of
QuadPlex
devices and via the LEDs on a standalone
QuadPlex
unit (see
“Front Panel Controls and Indicators” on page
).
Width:
Width of the input resolution, in pixels.
Height:
Height of the input resolution, in pixels.
Refresh rate:
Refresh rate of the input signal, in Hz.
Enable copy protection:
Check this checkbox if the video source plays copy-protected
content.
