4.4.4.6 Ensuring the Quadsaw is stable and level on the pallet go about removing the nuts and bolts or split pin,
depending on whether the machine is standard attachment or fitted with the optional quick release set-up. A
reverse of Figure 3.4

Climb into the driver’s seat of the tractor, start up and gently move the reach arm away from the Quadsaw.
Store the equipment, preferably in a covered area, on a suitable and flat surface.
Follow the instructions given in Section 2.5.2
“Preparation for storage” in this manual.
4.4
Safety devices
There are safety devices on the Quadsaw to safeguard the operator.
WARNING!
The safety devices must not be tampered or excluded. They should always be kept in perfect
working order.
The following are installed:
REMOVABLE PROTECTION
– Blade guards – Blade guards protect prevents hands from being introduced into the
blade cutting area when the machine is not in use.
FIXED PROTECTION
- Belt protection covers - Belt protection covers all belts and prevents hands from being
introduced into the transmission area.
FIXED WARNINGS
– Warning safety decals - The warning decals of the residual risk on the Quadsaw essentially
indicate an existing danger, a prohibition or requirements that are to be met for the operator’s safety and for the
Quadsaw to operate correctly and remain intact.
