Usage Instructions
4.1
Before use
Prior to starting up the Quadsaw, carry out the following operations;
4.1.1. Check that all the screws and nuts are fastened, especially those that secure the blades. For torque setting
see Section 5.1.3;
4.1.2. Check that the PTO shaft is inserted correctly between the gearbox and the tractor PTO and also check the
operation of the hydraulic pump and the distributor (if the machine is mounted on a reach arm).
4.1.3. Check the hydraulic hoses condition and ensure that they are secure.
WARNING!
Before operating the Quadsaw, check the efficiency of the power systems and familiarize yourself
with the controls.
During transport the Quadsaw and the reach arm must be positioned to take up the least amount of space and ensure
that it will not have the potential to collide with other road users and bystanders, see Figure 4.1. The Quadsaw should
also be fitted for transport purposes with the supplied blade guard.

The authorisation for road use (valid for one year and renewable) is issued by:
-- the National Road Board of the town in which the journey starts as regards the national
road network;
-- the region as regards the rest of the road network.
4.2
Using the Quadsaw
After having familiarized yourself well with the controls, dressed in the correct PPE (personal protective equipment)
required. Then set the machine in the working position, connected the hydraulic hoes, secured it properly to the reach
arm or carrier frame and removed the blade guard. Start the tractor engine, disengage the parking brake, and engage
the oil supply while maintaining the engine at a low rpm.
Before starting work, make sure that there are no exposed persons and/or animals near the machine.
Otherwise, have them move away.
Starting and stopping the saw shall always be at the lowest PTO rpm.
