1. TESTED QUALITY
OUR STOVES ARE TESTED TO DIN EN 13240. THE DECLARATION OF PER-
FORMANCE MAY BE VIEWED AND IS OBTAINABLE FROM WWW.SPARTHERM.
COM
This stove has a self-closing firebox door, and so the door is only ever
opened for operating purposes (e.g. cleaning the firebox or putting on more
wood). For safety reasons, tampering with the closing mechanism is not per-
missible and will void the warranty and the operating permit. The warranty
and the operating permit will also be voided if any technical modifications
are made to other parts of the stove.
1.1. SCOPE OF SUPPLY

• Firebox made from eboris 1300 (refractory concrete)
• Primary and secondary air supply
• Self-closing firebox door with high temperature-resistant ceramic glass
viewing pane
• Protective glove
• Rating plate (for mounting location see section „3.4 Rating Plate“ on
page 29)
• The stove is pre-assembled. It is delivered in disposable cardboard
packaging for ease of transport.
• Pump thermostat (ambiente a4 H
2
O only)
• Thermal discharge safety device ¾¨ with vent valve (ambiente a4 H
2
O
only).
1.2. DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
Please inspect the goods immediately upon delivery (
visual check
). Any
damage should be noted on your delivery note. You should then inform
your stove fitter. Protect the visible parts of the stove from dirt and damage
during installation.
Only approved and sufficiently strong handling aids should be used to trans-
port your stove. The following points must be noted to ensure safe transport
without any problems:
• The stove should always be transported in the upright position or tilted
slightly backwards (the back of the stove is labelled).
• A hand truck used as a handling aid must load the stove from the rear
only.
2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The assembly and installation of your ambiente a1/a2/a3/a4/a4 H
2
O/a5/
a7/a8 stove should be carried out by a specialist. Before your stove is
assembled and installed you should meet with the master chimney sweep
responsible for such matters in your area to discuss the suitability of your
chimney and the installation location and to clarify other matters.
2.1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION
All relevant national and European standards and local regulations (DIN,
DIN EN, state building regulations, heating system regulations, etc.) must
be noted and observed when installing, connecting up and operating the
