flow to the firebox as primary air (through the grate) and as secondary air
(via the airwash) and post-combustion (located in the back wall).
On the ambiente a5 the air adjustment lever should be moved upwards. The
lever is located on the rear of the stove.
Restricted air flow: Adjustment lever roughly in the middle position. The
primary air supply is now closed off, so that the fire is not supplied with
too much air. The secondary air flows over the ceramic glass pane via the
airwash and post-combustion, which minimises sooting-up of the glass.
This is the normal position during combustion. The exact position depends
on local conditions and can be adjusted by the operator according to how
the stove is burning.
Air supply closed: Adjustment lever at the far left. In this position, no com-
bustion air is supplied to the fire chamber of the ambiente a1/a2/a3/a4/
a4 H
2
O stove. Wait for all the fuel to burn away before closing off the air
supply. The air supply should always be closed when the stove is not in use.
On the ambiente a5 the air adjustment lever should be moved downwards.
The lever is located on the rear of the stove.
