Temperature Units
The Temperature Units field displays the current setting for indicating temperature
values. Temperature can be displayed in either Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C).
Vacuum Units
System pressure may be displayed in millitorr (mTorr), microbar (
μ
bar) or Pascal
(Pa).The Vacuum Units field displays the units selected for measuring system
pressure.
Relay Test
The Relay Test screen can be used to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical problems,
or to observe active outputs during a freeze-drying run.

To test a relay bank, simply press the Up or Down (±) button and each of the outputs
of the selected relay bank will fire for approximately two seconds each. A square
appears next to the active relay output.
Vacuum Pump Maintenance
The Vacuum Pump Maintenance screen allows alarm parameters to be adjusted.
Current pump usage time is also displayed on this screen. This alarm draws attention
to necessary vacuum pump maintenance operations such as oil changes.
Vacuum Pump Maintenance
Alarm Setpoint: 240
Current Hours: 0000 min: 007
The Alarm Setpoint is the number of hours of continuous vacuum pump operation
allowed before the Vacuum Pump Maintenance alarm will be generated. The default
factory value is 240 hours, but can be changed by pressing and holding the MENU
button while Alarm Setpoint is highlighted. Use the Up/Down (±) buttons to modify the
value.
The Current Hours field can be reset at any time by pressing and holding the MENU
button while Current Hours is highlighted.
Note: If the Vacuum Pump Maintenance alarm is active in the Alarms screen, the Current
Hours must be reset on the Vacuum Pump Maintenance screen before the alarm can be
cleared.
