If the information you know about the line and arc correspond to Type 13, then select the 13
softkey. The screen will then show:
Input the known data in the same way you would program an event. When all of the data is
entered, the solution (or solutions if there are more than one) will be shown on the left side of
the information area.
There are often multiple solutions for geometry problems. For example, in the Type 13 example
above, a line will often intersect an arc or circle in two places. In these cases all possible solutions will
be calculated and displayed. In most cases a careful inspection of the print and some common sense
will tell you which solution applies to your problem.
