SECTION 2 INTRODUCTION
2.1 PRESENTATION

This guide contains the information required for safely installing, operating and maintaining your Soucy Track system.
Please read this guide carefully to learn and understand how to correctly install, operate and service the Track system.
Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment failure.

Familiarize yourself with the instructions before you proceed with the installation, operation and maintenance of the
track system.
•
Keep this guide handy while installing, operating, and maintaining your system.

This equipment shall be used for agricultural operations only. Contact Soucy Track if you wish to use it for other
purposes.

Running the sprayer over agrarian land using agricultural rubber tracks ensures that the surface of the farmland is
protected from significant degradation.

2.3 EC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

2.4 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
•
The track system consists of a rubber
track
supported by a wheeled
undercarriage
and driven by a
sprocket
secured
to the tractor wheel hub. The pivoting frame is retained by a pin (pivot axle) on an
attachment
secured to the axle
housing (see next figure). Movement of the track is ensured by the driving sprocket teeth pushing on the internal
track teeth when the tractor is moving.
