Start Up Computer
This Action is similar to the Switch Outlets Action, but also
turns on your computer. Each switchable outlet appears in the
Action Editor, and can be controlled as described in the Switch
Outlets Action above.
Any outlets set to “Always On” will not be settable in the Start Up
Computer Action Editor, and the computer’s outlet will be locked
“On.” You can, however, set a delay for the computer’s outlet, which
will cause the computer to start up after the peripherals come on.
Shut Down Computer
This Action is similar to the Switch Outlets Action, but also
shuts down your computer. Each switchable outlet appears in
the Action Editor, and can be controlled as described in the
Outlet Action above.
The computer’s outlet, as well as any outlets set to “Always On,”
will not be settable in the Shut Down Computer Action Editor. You
can, however, set a delay for the computer’s outlet (if it’s not set to
“Always On”), which will cause the computer’s outlet to turn off
after the peripherals.
