PRINTER button
Selects a printer when multiple printers are used.
For details, refer to the Operating Instructions
(Advanced Operations).

COLOR/B/W button (19)
Selects COLOR or B/W (black and white) for a printout.
C
SIZE button (19)
Selects the size for a printout.

POWER switch (16)
Turns the power to the camera ON or OFF.
Note
When the POWER switch is set to OFF, the latest status
of the camera is stored in memory, then the standby lamp
goes out to indicate that the power is turned off
completely. While the standby lamp is lit, do not
disconnect the AC power adaptor or remove the
batteries.

PRINT button (19)
Press to print a picture displayed on the LCD. When you
press this button once, the layout preview display for a
printout is displayed on the LCD, and you can set the
number of sheet to be printed. When you press this
button again, the picture data are transmitted to the
printer and are printed. While transmitting the data,
TRANSMITTING appears on the LCD.
To turn off the layout preview display, press the MENU
button.
The PRINT button is enabled when a quick-review
picture or a playback picture is displayed on the LCD.

PRINTER ALARM lamp
Lights when some trouble occurs on the printer.
When multiple printers are used, the status of the printer
selected with the PRINTER button is indicated. Check
the printer.

When the PLAY/CAMERA switch is set to
CAMERA
Adjusts the framing of the picture. For identification
portraits, the size of a face on a photograph is designated
in most cases. The zoom function allows you to adjust
the size of the face without moving the camera position.
This feature allows smooth shooting, minimizing the
time the subject must sit without moving. The maximum
magnification is 1.3 times or 2.6 times.
T: For a telephoto picture
W: For a wide picture
When the PLAY/CAMERA switch is set to PLAY
Switches between nine-picture multiple display and
single-picture display.
T: Nine-picture multiple display is switched to single-
picture display.
W: The display is toggled between a single-picture
display and a nine-picture multiple display.
