TEST MODE B (Memory Control Mode)
[Setting the Test Mode]
1. Turn the power on.
2. Press
[ERASE]

keys at a time.
3. When the test mode becomes active, the LCD displays “TEST
B, ID=
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
” along with an acknowledged tone, and
the handset waits for a command.
4. After the test mode becomes active, the ID writing mode be-
comes active and current ID is displayed.
To write the ID, enter a 6-digit hexadecimal number and fi-
nally press the
[#]
key to set the entered value.
Upon completion of ID input with the
[#]
key, an
acknowledged tone is generated and the handset waits for a
command.
Note
:ID input range is 0000F6h to 7F7FF6h.
(However, 4th and 6th digits accept 0 to 7, and 1st and 2nd digits
are fixed to F6)
To enter a hexadecimal number for ID, use 0 to 9: 10 keys, A:
[A]

B:
[B]
, C:
[C]
, D:
[LONG DIST. SAVER]

and

keys.
5. In the “TEST B” command input waiting state, press the
[*]
key, EEPROM (except ID and parameters) will be initialized,
and the handset will release the test mode.
Note
:In the test mode B (memory control mode), pressing the
[*]
key
causes the user’s telephone directory registered in the handset to
be cleared, and therefore do not use this mode except when
EEPROM (IC52) is replaced.
[Releasing the Test Mode]
• In the “TEST B” state, press the
[*]
key.
• Turn the power off.

TEST MODE C (Electrical Adjustment Mode)
1. Turn the power on. (LCD displays “PLEASE WAIT ...” for
about 5 sec)
2. With the set in idle (on hook) state, press
[ERASE]

3. When the test mode becomes active, the LCD displays “TEST
C” along with an acknowledged tone, and the handset waits
for a command.
4. In this mode, the channels are set as follows based on the set
ID.

[Releasing the Test Mode]
• Turn the power off.
[TX Power Measurement Mode]
1. In the “TEST C” state, press the
[1]
key, and this test mode
will become active.
2. In this state, setting can be changed by entering the following

[Sensitivity Measurement Mode]
1. In the “TEST C” state, press the
[2]
key, and this test mode
will become active.
2. The TX-EN and SLAVE mode is activated, and a 7-bit decimal
number of LQMON [6...0] at Addr=12h is displayed at the 0.5
sec interval. (Addr=0Bh, Data=00h)
3. Pressing the
[*]
key causes the handset to return to the initial
test mode “TEST C” and wait for a command.

TEST MODE D (RF Control Mode)
[Setting the Test Mode]
1. Turn the power on.
2. Press
[ERASE]

3. When the test mode becomes active, an acknowledged tone is
generated, the RF control mode becomes active, and the hand-
set waits for a command.
4. In this mode, the channel, power, mode, TX, LQ, RXST, and
RSSI are displayed on the LCD. Each setting can be changed
by entering the following keys.
