Registering Receivers
Register the PWS-100RX1 units in the system using the Initialization Tool. This operation is required for all PWS-
100RX1 units configured to receive streaming content.
Connection to the Connection Control Manager is established, and the PWS-100RX1 unit is registered.
When the configuration completion screen appears, click [OK]. Use the same procedure to register other PWS-100RX1
units as receivers.
To initialize the Streaming Receiver
Launch the Initialization Tool, and click [Reset].

Turn on the PWS-100RX1 unit for which to configure Streaming Receiver preferences.

Double click the [Initialization Tool] icon on the Start screen to launch the Initialization Tool.

Click [Settings].

Enter the IP address and port number (9083) of the Connection Control Manager in [CCM Address] and
[CCM Port], respectively.

Enter the user name and password to use when logging in to the Connection Control Manager from a
streaming receiver in [Username] and [Password], respectively, and click [Next].
Enter the user name and password registered in [Connection] > [RX Connection] on the Settings screen.
When using XDCAM air, enter the user name and password configured using the [Settings] screen > [System] >
[Credentials] > [Receiver] in XDCAM air.

To output an image on the SDI connectors when streaming is stopped, place a check mark in [Use an
image file for SDI outputs], specify an image file, and click [Next].

To use the intercom function, place a check mark in [Enable Intercom function], select the audio interface
and audio input/outputs, and click [Start].
The audio channels that can be selected depend on the audio interface that is connected. Check the audio settings
in the Windows control panel.
