1. Eject the cartridge.
2. Insert the cartridge into another drive, and then copy contents to a PC or
an external storage.
• When the same warning occurs:
There is a possibility that the record section has been damaged.
Write down the copied contents onto another cartridge.
• When the same warning does not occur:
There is a possibility that the playback performance of the drive
deteriorates.
Go to step 3 in the error remedy method.
3. Startup the maintenance menu and perform [CHECK] > [LENS
CLEANING].
4. Insert the cartridge that was used when the warning occurred.
• In the case no warning occurs:
The problem is fixed. Use the unit as it is.
• In the case the warning occurs:
Replace the optical block assembly.
