When laser parameter 0 of hours meter has:
• not reached the end of replacement cycle:
There is something wrong with the optical or electrical system in
optical block assembly (OP-0).
• reached the end of replacement cycle:
It is likely laser in optical block assembly (OP-0) reached to the end of
its life cycle.
3. Replace optical block assembly (OP-0).

1. Eject the cartridge.
2. Startup the maintenance menu and display [CHECK] > [LOADER].
3. Insert the cartridge and check [DOWN SENSOR] and [SENSOR
HOLE].
• when [DOWN SENSOR] is set to [DOWN] and [SENSOR HOLE]
displays “4”:
The problem is fixed. Use the unit as it is.
• when [DOWN SENSOR] is set to other than [DOWN] and [SENSOR
HOLE] does not display “4”:
There is a possibility that a detection sensor is damaged.
Go to step 4 in the error remedy method.
4. Check the corresponding detection sensors, and then replace the
SE-1004A board or the SE-1005A board.
